After you move-in, it is our priority to ensure your home exceeds your expectations. AkelCare is a multi-faceted customer care program that includes: your Limited Warranty, Home Care Manual, and Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
Your home will be free from defects in materials and workmanship (except landscaping) from the time you close to one year from the effective date of the Limited Warranty. Items such as appliances are covered by manufacturers’ warranties.
Your home will be free from defects in mechanical installations, including electrical, plumbing, cooling, and heating systems from the time you close to two years from the effective date of the Limited Warranty.
Your home will be free from defects in major structural components form the time you close to ten years from the effective date of the Limited Warranty.
THE AKEL HOME CARE MANUAL
The Akel Home Care Manual is your reference to preserving what you worked so hard for. Upon closing, all customers receive a copy of the Home Care Manual. This guide will walk you through the many important components and systems that bring your home to life. Proper routine maintenance is critical to preventing issues from arising within your home. By gaining a deeper understanding of the function of your home’s components, you will be able to maintain your home’s value for years to come.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEYS
After you move in, it is our priority to ensure that your home exceeds your expectations. Our Customer Satisfaction Surveys are sent during your first, sixth and twelfth month after you purchase your new home to make sure your needs are taken care of.
